Quadruple A developer DMCI Homes recently donated basketballs to select barangays in Metro Manila in its effort to help promote sports development in neighboring and host communities of its residential projects.

The basketballs were donated to the councils of Barangays Malaya and Mariblo in Quezon City; Barangay 45 in Pasay City; and Barangay Guadalupe Viejo in Makati City.

These barangays are located near DMCI Homes projects The Amaryllis, Viera Residences, and Cameron Residences in Quezon City, Aston Residences in Pasay City, and Brio Tower in Makati City.

Corporate Communications Manager Carlo Gahol said the donation is part of DMCI Homes’ “Kaakbay sa Pamayanan” Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative which works on addressing issues related to social welfare and community development in communities where the company operates.

“Helping promote sports development in our host barangays is one way of showing our gratitude to them whom we consider as our partners in community-building,” Gahol said.

The barangays that received the basketballs were very thankful of the donations as these will help them in promoting sports activities and team camaraderie among their constituents. It will also encourage those in the community who has the passion to play sports such as basketball to continue pursuing their dreams.
