Facilities Officer

Job Responsibilities
  • Facilities Officer is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, preventive maintenance and repairs to a mid-rise or high-rise condominium complex's electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and all other building systems. Must have working knowledge of all building electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, fire protection and safety & security systems to ensure proper operations and be able to act upon any conditions that are out of the ordinary.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Conduct daily inspection of building/s and equipments for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on the electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems as per schedule provided by the Head Office.
  • Prepare monthly accomplishment reports for the scheduled preventive maintenance.
  • Perform and/or assist with installation and modification of building equipment systems.
  • Perform and/or assist electrical/mechanical/plumbing repair and troubleshooting.
  • Perform and/or assist water treatment and testing.
  • Prepare evalation and recommendation for the breakdown equipments and/or equipment upgrading with the approval of Property Manager.
  • Prepare assessment for the renovation works being requested by the Unit Owners/Tenants with the approval of Property Manager or MEP Engineer.
  • Perform all assigned work so as to ensure the safety of the building's tenants and the continuous operation of the Property.
  • Respon quickly to emergency situations such as equipment breakdowns, leaks, etc.
  • Coordinate maintenance efforts with outside contractors and technicians when work cannot be performed by in-house maintenance.
  • Coordinate contractor, tenant, and management approvals for work orders that require the use of an outside contractor. Maintains log of work details.
  • Orders parts and supplies as required, and maintains stock and inventory control.
  • Works with Property Manager in planning and controlling annual and capital budgets.
  • Be responsive to tenant complaints in the areas of safety, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and environmental needs through both personal contact and work order systems.
  • Check and monitor maintainance logbooks/records.
  • Be familiar with and conform to all written standard operating procedures associated with site.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of all equipments and work areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirement
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
