DMCI Homes’ employees and residents of its condominium communities in Metro Manila recently joined hands to mount a donation drive for areas affected by the eruption of Taal Volcano in Batangas province.

From January 17 to 31, the Taal donation drive was simultaneously held in the DMCI Homes Corporate Center in Makati City and over 20 condominium communities.

The donations were coursed through the Sagip Kapamilya of the ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc., Department of Social Welfare and Development, and GMA Kapuso Foundation.

Participating condominium communities include Acacia Estates; Accolade Place; Asteria Residences; Brio Tower; Cypress Towers; La Verti Residences; Lumiere Residences; Maple Place; Mayfield Park Residences; Mirea Residences; Maricielo Villas; One Castilla Place; Ohana Place Residences; Rhapsody Residences; Raya Garden Residences; Stellar Place; Sheridan Towers; The Amaryllis; Torre de Manila; The Redwoods; and Zinnia Towers.

Donations included food items, medicines, toiletries, bottled waters, cleaning materials, and used clothes.

“It’s heartwarming every time we see our employees and residents of our condominium communities come together for a noble cause such as this. We hope our donations will help those affected by the Taal eruption as they recover from this calamity,” DMCI Homes Corporate Communications Manager Carlo Gahol said.

Boxes of donations collected during the two-week drive such as food items, medicines, toiletries, bottled waters, cleaning materials, and used clothes were coursed through the Sagip Kapamilya of the ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc., Department of Social Welfare and Development, and GMA Kapuso Foundation.
