The excitement of moving into a new home may be overwhelming especially if it comes as a surprise. But for the homeowners of Asteria Residences, one of the recent DMCI Homes developments in Paranaque City, settling to their new place earlier than expected is a blessing to embrace.
Known for its world-class craftsmanship and efficient project delivery, the Philippines' first Quadruple A property developer DMCI Homes completed Asteria Residences' first of seven buildings six months ahead the target ready-for-occupancy (RFO) schedule.
"We were really surprised that we can live in our new home sooner than the promised date and we are looking forward to move in soon," enthused couple Matthias and Cynthia Hanika who are among the first to experience the property's resort-themed lifestyle. The couple, along with their five-year old daughter Nyx, recently received the keys to their new unit in Asteria Residences.
Built for those who prefer the laidback lifestyle of southern Metro Manila, Asteria Residences is located in Valley 2 of Paranaque City, within a quiet residential village that is still close enough to main roads such as Dr. A. Santos Ave., formerly Sucat Road.
With its resort-inspired interiors and amenities, Asteria Residences offers a tropical escape right inside Metro Manila. Its tree-lined landscape and breezy, modern Asian architecture are sure to put residents at ease the moment they enter the 2.7-hectare development.
Matthias, who hails from Germany and has been living in the Philippines for 20 years, manages properties in Mindoro, together with his wife.
"She was always telling me, can we not have even a small nipa hut of our own?" he shared. "So this is basically the little nipa hut I promised her."
This "little nipa hu" is in fact a two-bedroom unit in the development's first building. While the top priority in moving to Asteria was its proximity to their daughter's school, it was also the convenience of condominium living that drew the family to the property.
According to Matthias, they found that living in a community like Asteria Residences is especially suitable for a small, independent family like theirs that travels often.
"For our kind of lifestyle, it is best to have a condominium because we do travel a lot. We don't have maids, so we like to have a small place that is easy to maintain. Other advantages of having a condominium is you have various amenities that you can enjoy plus you have the security that makes it worry-free when you leave you home," he explained.
Amid the challenges of moving in earlier than expected, the Hanika couple shared their greater excitement at the prospect of living in to their new home.
"We will be moving in slowly but surely. We'll move in latest by June," Matthias enthused, adding that they are looking forward to making the most out of the vertical community's amenities including various types of swimming pool -kiddie, lap and adult : that cater to people of different ages, fitness gym, basketball court, lounge area, picnic area, and playground where their daughter can interact with their future neighbors.
In fact, the community at DMCI Homes is another quality that the Hanikas are looking forward to.
"It's nice to be able to welcome everybody," Matthias said. "As you can tell, I'm a friendly person. I like interaction with the neighbors. I'm also hoping for some friends for our child."
Now that they have the keys to their new unit, the Hanika family now has even more to look forward to as they build the life they've always wanted â starting with their own ideal family home.
DMCI Homes is the country's first Quadruple A real estate developer that provides quality homes at best value delivered on or ahead of time.
