Quadruple A developer DMCI Homes is introducing a coworking space in its Lumiere Residences development in Pasig Boulevard, Pasig City to benefit residents looking for a professional workspace to do productive work within the confines of their community.
The shared workspaces at the West Tower mezzanine level can be used by registered residents and tenants for a minimal fee Mondays to Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. The facility had its soft opening and blessing last July 10 and will be fully operational in the coming weeks.
Ideal for remote workers, freelancers, start-ups, and students, the facility is equipped with strong and stable internet connection and other essential amenities such as virtual mailbox, photocopying machine, and printer to help users work efficiently and increase their productivity.
Users will surely be inspired by the cozy interiors while getting things done at the 4-seater cabin booth, fixed desks and hot desks to do focused work for their work from home and distance learning needs.
To ensure the safety of everyone, QR codes will be used for user login and recording of time; plastic barriers and partitions will be installed to promote safe distancing; and users will be required to put on face masks and practice frequent hand sanitation while inside the facility.
Furthermore, detailed cleaning and sanitation will be done after every use of the amenities.
Reservations for use of Lumiere Residences’ coworking space can be made at the Property Management Office (PMO) on a first come, first served basis.
DMCI Homes Vice President for Project Development Dennis Yap said the introduction of the coworking space feature at the three-tower development is one of new services being eyed by DMCI Homes to institute in various projects to help condo residents better adapt to “new normal” living.
“Although it’s not part of the original plan, we are allotting a coworking space to make it more convenient for our residents to do their work, business, and school chores in the comfort of their community,” Yap said.
Yap said coworking spaces are also being considered in DMCI Homes’ future projects to help residents better adapt to the lifestyle changes brought about by the coronavirus pandemic.
Residents and tenants, meanwhile, lauded the introduction of a coworking space facility in the community, noting its many benefits to those who are working or studying from home.
“It was a pleasant surprise visiting the new co-working space. It is a nice functional area to work, the setup is pleasant yet very simple done and in good taste. Lumiere Residences will find this facility very helpful and with a bit of time, it will be a popular place to spend couple of hours working,” Elias Khoury said.
“I came to find Lumiere’s coworking space through an advertisement from the PMO. The coworking space is a suitable place to work from home and a great venue to hangout, have coffee and chat with friends you’ve yet to meet in the community. Thank you DMCI Homes and PMO for another facility that we can all enjoy and a welcoming place to be,” Brian Emmanuel Raagas added.
