Unit owners raise their glasses as they commit themselves as responsible members of the Lumiere Residences community.

Residents of Lumiere Residences in Pasig City recently got a taste of DMCI Homes’ renowned community warmth and togetherness during a welcome party hosted by the country’s first Quadruple A developer for new unit owners.

DMCI Homes President Alfredo R. Austria himself initiated the holding of the activity believing that building a community entails a harmonious relationship among residents.

“It’s always difficult to build a good community because it is not just about having good structures and facilities. It’s also about having harmonious relationships among the unit owners and having shared vision and so on,” Austria told over a hundred unit owners who gathered at the sky lounge of Lumiere Residences’ East Tower.

“We are here to build the community. And this requires us working together,” he stressed.

After Sheridan Towers, Lumiere Residences was the second DMCI Homes development to hold the community socials dubbed as “Home At Last” which serves as a venue for newly moved-in residents to get to know their fellow unit owners as well as DMCI Homes officers.

Austria said building best value homes and communities has been the company’s commitment to society in accordance with the ideals laid down by the late DMCI Group founder, Engr. David M. Consunji.

“This is part of the DMCI creed made by our founder David M. Consunji. In his creed, he said that we don’t look at this as a business, but we look at it as a profession,” the DMCI Homes president said.

“It’s our way of hopefully doing something for society, to the community that we live in. We think that if we are able to create value for the community that we live in then at least we have fulfilled some purpose in our lives,” he explained.

As in other residential condominium communities, DMCI Homes Property Management Corporation (DPMC) Senior Vice-President Enrico C. Wong said he wants residents of Lumiere Residences to develop a sense of community and learn to become responsible for each other.

“In our experience in property management over the past few years, there are physical issues or house rule issues. But more often than not, the bigger issues are between communities, between residents, and between neighbors,” Wong said.

“And one of the things we think that will make the property appreciate and become really a source of pride is because the people who live there are good people,” he pointed out.

Unit owners were introduced to DMCI Homes officers from the Post Construction Group, Property Management Office, Customer Care, and Leasing to facilitate their easy transition into their new community as they enjoyed a night of fun and good music.

Margie, one of the unit owners, thanked DMCI Homes for initiating the event and making residents feel that they belong to a community.

“I like this activity because I was able to meet my fellow residents and make new friends. I don’t feel alone. It’s like I really belong to a community,” she said.

Lumiere Residences is a three-tower development along Pasig Boulevard corner Shaw Boulevard in Pasig City. Residents started accepting their units at the East Tower of the modern tropical architecture-themed development last September 2017.

The West Tower, on the other, hand will be ready for occupancy (RFO) middle of 2018.
