Everybody loves pleasant surprises.
This is not only true in life but also in home-buying. After all, nothing beats the feeling of getting more than what we desire or wish for in a home.
Take the case of young couple Francis and Maricel Pangan who only wanted to own a condominium unit near their business location in Balintawak, Quezon City after they got married in 2015.
“We really wanted a condo near our business because the location itself is perfect. It’s near the market, malls, schools, church…It’s really very convenient,” said Mr. Pangan who owns a car battery buy and sell business.
Though they were not familiar with the developer, Mr. Pangan said they decided to try it out in DMCI Homes’ Zinnia Towers since it was the condo development nearest to their area at that time.
“Beforehand, we were not that familiar with DMCI Homes to be honest pero ito yung pinakamalapit sa business ko. Naghanap din kami sa ibang developer pero hindi masyadong maganda yung mga gamit at maliit yung (unit) cuts,” disclosed the 31-year-old businessman.
Unknowingly, putting their money on DMCI Homes would be the best decision they would make in their first year as a married couple.
“Sa price competitive siya (Zinnia Towers) compared sa ibang condo kasi yung cut is sobrang laki at maganda. Siya lang din ang may atrium. We love the idea of atrium every five floors kasi it ventilates the whole building,” Mrs. Pangan shared.
“Sobrang homey at open na open siya. Unlike yung ibang condo na paglabas mo ng unit, wall na agad yung katapat mo. Ito (Zinnia Towers) parang may extra balcony ka,” she continued in reference to DMCI Homes’ developments signature single-loaded corridors and atriums.
The landscaped atriums, she pointed out, perfectly complement the condo’s resort-inspired amenities, giving residents an invigorating living experience in the middle of the bustling Quezon City district.
“We love the amenities here. We love almost everything—gym, basketball court for him, play area for our baby, roofdeck, and swimming pool for the family. Halos lahat eh. Talagang sobrang gamit namin every afternoon namamasyal kami lagi,” the 31-year-old mother of one answered when asked about their favorite condo amenity.
But more than the unique DMCI Homes features, it is the condo community itself which brings joy to the Pangan family.
“We have social activities prepared by the Property Management Office like during Halloween and Christmas wherein we have an opportunity to bond with other residents. We have a very good community here—close and responsible,” Mrs. Pangan related.
“Also the staff. Wala kaming masabi. They are very approachable and friendly, from the security staff down to housekeeping, they are very helpful in making our living comfortable. Ina-address nila yung concerns namin effectively and immediately,” she enthused.
Amid all these pleasant surprises of living in DMCI Homes’ Zinnia Tower, Mr. Pangan could only regret that they only bought a two-bedroom unit instead of a three-bedroom floor plan.
“Kung alam lang namin na ganito kaganda, nag 3-bedroom na ako. Nagsisisi nga ako. Until now naghahanap kami ng 3-bedroom kasi balak naming mag-stay here for good,” he said.
Nonetheless, Mrs. Pangan said they are just happy to discover more surprises their condo community brings as days go by.
“Masaya na kami rito. Habang tumatagal, gusto namin dito na kami hanggang pagtanda,” she beamed.
