DMCI Homes condo communities support donations-in-kind program of Caritas Manila
Quadruple A developer DMCI Homes recently turned over boxes of pre-loved clothes to Caritas Manila in support of its donations-in-kind program titled Segunda Mana.
The assorted clothes for children and adults were donated by residents of DMCI Homes' various condominium communities in Metro Manila.
Since March this year, DMCI Homes has already delivered three batches of donations to the Caritas Manila office in Pandacan, Manila.
"We are happy to be able to contribute to this noble cause. On behalf of our residents, we would like to thank Caritas Manila for giving us another venue to help the underprivileged sectors of society,” DMCI Homes Corporate Communications Manager Carlo Gahol said.
Segunda Mana is the donations-in-kind program of Caritas Manila—the social action arm of the Archdiocese of Manila—which aims to support programs for the poor.
Donated second hand items are sold in Segunda Mana Charity Outlets and Expos to raise funds for social services programs of the Church such as scholarship programs, relief efforts, and even housing assistance.
