DMCI Homes was recognized as the Top 6 Real Property Taxpayer in Davao City, home to the company’s first condominium project in Mindanao, Verdon Parc.

The Pasidungog, which honors exemplary Dabawenyos and stakeholders of the city, is one of the official events lined up for this year’s Araw ng Dabaw, a month-long celebration of Davao City’s 86th founding anniversary.

More than 100 organizations and individuals who have “made their mark in business, cooperative and economic development, public safety, disaster, and crisis response, social services, health, urban infrastructure and housing resettlement, education, animal health welfare and productivity, tourism, and the arts” were honored in this year’s Pasidungog according to an article on Davao City’s official website.

In his speech read by Davao City Acting City Administrator Atty. Francis Mark H. Layog, Davao City Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte thanked the awardees saying “that the success that Davao City has achieved in the past 86 years is made possible with combined and coordinated efforts of all stakeholders in the city.”

“Today we give due recognition to these organizations and individuals who support the programs and initiatives of the local government in the past year that have enabled us to create a better and more livable city for all,” Duterte said in his speech.

“We also thank our top businesses and real property taxpayers for your contributions which have been translated into better services for the people,” the Davao City mayor added.
