Nothing beats the feeling of finally moving into your own place. More so if your new home turns out to be beyond your expectations.
It is the kind of feeling Lex Calubag felt when he moved into his 1-bedroom unit at Sheridan Towers’ North Tower in Mandaluyong City last August.
“I’m overjoyed,” Lex said when asked how he felt when he finally received the keys to his own condominium.
“Siyempre masaya kasi for four years, ini-imagine mo lang eh. For four years, I would always check the DMCI Homes website for construction update. Then finally, this is it! Finally, ito na ‘yung pinagpaguran ko,” said Lex who had been renting an apartment in Quezon City for years.
What makes Lex even happier is that Sheridan Towers’ North Tower turned out way beyond his expectations.
“I’m very happy with the outcome. It exceeded my expectations,” he beamed.
“Pinakagusto ko sa building is ‘yung atrium and also the Sky Patio and lobby amenities. I also like the roofdeck, ‘yung 360-degree views niya of Metro Manila especially the view of BGC and the Makati skyscrapers,” he continued.
Lex, who works as a finance manager for a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company in BGC, also noted what distinguishes Sheridan Towers from other condominiums.
“I feel na hindi siya compact, unlike other condominiums na parang ang sikip. Per floor area, may specific number of units lang. ‘Yung space mo talaga is malaki compared to other condominiums,” he enthused.
Though he admitted that Sheridan Towers was not his original choice when he was looking for a condominium to invest in 2016, Lex is happy that he made the right decision of buying a unit instead from DMCI Homes.
“I was actually close to making a reservation in another condominium unit and then fortunately ‘yung isang cousin ko told me about DMCI.” he related.
“Dinala niya ako sa Flair (Towers) and nagustuhan ko. I was told that improved version ng Flair ang Sheridan Towers. I said ‘wow magiging ganito ang Sheridan.’ So immediately the next day nagbigay agad ako ng reservation for Sheridan,” he added.
Looking back, Lex is convinced he made the right decision in choosing DMCI Homes.
“What I like is that when Sheridan Towers was being marketed to me, it was not sugar-coated. They delivered the actual product that was marketed to me. They delivered on their promise and more,” he explained.
“Also, I had visited DMCI condominiums and I observed iba ‘yung community na mayroon sa DMCI. So I have no regrets. It turned out good. I’m very satisfied,” he continued.
Moreover, Lex feels putting his money on Sheridan Towers is a good investment because of its convenient location and the completion of infrastructure projects in the area like the BGC-Ortigas Center Link Road Project.
The bridge, which is targeted for completion before yearend, will connect with the Lawton Avenue-Global City Viaduct to further improve inter-city travel in Pasig, Mandaluyong, Taguig and Makati.
“Definitely, I think it’s a good investment. I got it at pre-selling stage and the current value has more than doubled. I’m considering getting another unit once I get to settle financially,” he revealed.
