DMCI Unveils Raya Garden's Clubhouse
DMCI Homes recently held blessing and inauguration rites for Raya Garden Condominium's Grand Pavilion, a special event that signified the emergence of a growing community within this Bali-inspired sanctuary in the heart of Paranaque City.
Last month on a Saturday morning blessed by fair weather, the Pavilion was decorated with Asian embellishments such as fabrics that fluttered freely with the wind and other accents that exuded of warmth and exotic charm. It was an auspicious day to hold a momentous occasion for Raya Garden, another resort-type development project of DMCI Homes distinguished by its Balinese architecture and design.
The programme started with a short prayer led by Fr. Vir Pedragoza from Paranaque, summoning good graces to be showered on the spanking new facilities of the Pavilion. He then invited key officials from DMCI for the ribbon-cutting ceremonies, including Alfredo Austria (Managing Director), Alfonso Cervero (Director for Customer Care), Flor Ofrecio (Director for Sales), Richard Ong (first resident of Raya Garden) and Mrs. Fredesvinda Consunji representing her husband Mr. David M. Consunji, founder of DM Consunji, Inc.
Fr. Pedragoza then performed the blessing of the structure, followed by the excited new unit owners who gamely participated in the event. As a popular custom among Filipinos, the blessing of houses or any new establishment is foreseen to drive away negative vibes from the venue while and inviting positive energy into the facility. For their new unit and eventual community, the homeowners were only too grateful for DMCI to perform this important event for them.
In fact, the unit owners, represented by Richard Ong, were likewise officially granted the keys to their home by DMCI, through a ceremonial turnover. Mr. Ong's young family is the first official resident of Raya Garden, followed by more than 30 other families.
After short speeches from the officials who warmly welcomed homeowners and guests of the event, everyone was invited to partake of the sumptuous Asian fusion lunch, while listening to guest performer Tribo Musika's haunting renditions.
The guests milled around the Pavilion for the duration of the day, feeling cozy at the inviting reception hall, the Lotus pond, Floating podium, Meditation Pavilion, Infinity-edge Plunge pool, View deck, and Indoor Dining hall. Simultaneously, they were treated to more activities, such as bead-making and an interesting talk by a Feng Shui expert.
Other interested buyers went on a tour of the two-hectare facility, which is composed of five residential condominium buildings (three of which are medium-rise, 5-storey and two high-rise 15-storey structures). Two medium-rise buildings, Bali and Bandung, have been completed, while the other building are being prepared for turnover. Raya Garden has a total of 878 units, with standard 2-bedroom units of various sizes ranging from 42 sqm to 59 sqm.
As guests observed at the model units which are found inside the facility, the Raya Garden way of life has been associated with comfortable and stylish homes, distinguished by eclectic and contemporary Asian themes. The project's target market is composed of start-up married couples, single professionals, and retirees who are looking for a tranquil environment that is situated not too far from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Located along West Service Road, Merville, Paranaque City, Raya Garden is just 15 minutes away from Makati City and accessible to such locations like the Fort Bonifacio Global City, Alabang/ Filinvest Corporate City, Asian Hospital, and the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
Alfonso Cervero, Customer Care Division Director of DMCI Homes, said that Raya Garden, just like other DMCI Homes developments, are designed with such unique features like single loaded corridors that open up to a garden space instead of a neighboring door; limited number of housing units per building to preserve exclusivity; a Property Management Group which handles homeowners' daily concerns; and design for a 70:30 footprint to building space ratio that leaves ample gardens and more open areas.
"DM Consunji, Inc., which is DMCI Homes' mother company, has been in the industry for 52 years, so we have advantage in terms of experience in building landmarks. Now, we're trying to accomplish the same in building homes and communities that respond to the needs and wants of the Filipino family," Cervero added.
For as low as 10% downpayment, a homebuyer can already move in to the unit and enjoy the privileges of living in a DMCI Homes residential community.
