Kai Garden Residences, DMCI Homes’ first Japanese architecture-inspired condominium development, has proven to be a hit among property hunters, enjoying consistent strong sales since it was launched last year.

As of February 10 this year, the three-tower development in M. Vicente Street, Mandaluyong City has recorded P13.3 billion in reservation sales amid big interest from both homebuyers and investors.

The development is already 88 percent sold, with only 383 units left of the total unit inventory.

Since it was put in the market early last year, Kai Garden Residences has been a consistent monthly top-seller and was among DMCI Homes’ best-selling projects in 2018.

"The robust sales of Kai Garden Residences is encouraging. It inspires us to continue to come up with new products that prioritize the discriminating taste and preferences of our customers," DMCI Homes Senior Vice President for Sales Florante Ofrecio said.

Reasonably priced at P4.6 million onwards, the units with gross floor area ranging from 28 to 81.5 square meters (sq.m.) are targeted for completion in January 2023 for Sugi building, January 2024 for Icho building, and from June 2024 to January 2025 (depending on the floor level) for Hinoki building.

DMCI Homes aims to showcase its landscaping expertise in Kai Garden Residences by utilizing local flower-bearing shrubs and trees like the Palawan Cherry and the radiant Banaba tree to create an impression of a typical Japanese garden.

Kai Garden Residences, which is patterned after a traditional Japanese garden, is designed to be a unique development even by DMCI Homes standards as it will employ an open space that is intended to be a dynamic garden sanctuary – changing in appearance and ambiance throughout the year.

Known for its verdant landscapes in its resort-inspired condominium communities, DMCI Homes aims to utilize local flowering trees similar to the Land of the Rising Sun’s famed Cherry Blossom tree line like the Palawan Cherry and the radiant Banaba tree to create an impression of a typical Japanese garden in Kai Garden Residences.

Apart from the lush vegetation, DMCI Homes Senior Architect Fe Moselina said Kai Garden Residences will aim to bring the outdoors in through Sky Patios and landscaped atriums which are components of the company’s patented Lumiventt® Design Technology.

“It’s a Japanese-inspired design which seeks to provide a seamless transition from the outdoors to the indoor environment. The Sky Patios and Atriums are strategically positioned so that light and air can naturally flow within the building,” Moselina said.

Kai Garden Residences is one of the developments of DMCI Homes, the country’s first Quadruple A real estate developer known for building quality resort-inspired communities in Mega Manila, Baguio, Boracay, and Davao City. Each of its properties is built with world-standard craftsmanship borne from D.M. Consunji Inc.'s over 60 years of expertise in the construction and development industry.
