Quadruple A developer DMCI Homes recently donated boxes of learning materials to Pamplona Elementary School Unit 1 in Las Piñas City to help educators prepare for the implementation of blended learning system this coming school year.
The company donated boxes of bond papers, plastic envelopes, notebooks, pencils and crayons to help the school provide for the needs of its 1,000 enrollees as they start the school year 2020-2021 on October 5 using various learning styles amid the pandemic.
Jenelyn Nacario, the school’s Brigada Eskwela 2020 co-chairman said the bond papers will be used to produce modules and worksheets for pupils enrolled for school year 2020-2021 under the Department of Education (DepEd) blended learning.
According to DepEd, blended learning is a combination of varied approaches to teaching and learning, and will be adjusted based on the situation and/or needs of the school and the enrollees
Last year, DMCI Homes also donated basketballs to boost the school’s physical education program.
“As part of our “Kaakbay sa Edukasyon” Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, we at DMCI Homes always endeavor to help ensure the continuous educational development of young Filipinos in our neighbor communities,” DMCI Homes Corporate Communications Manager Carlo Gahol said.
“We are honored to be part of this program and be able to work with our dedicated teachers of Pamplona Elementary School in ensuring a smooth transition to a new learning system for their pupils,” he added.
