Additional C-5 Exit Brings Flexibility for Acacia Estates Residents

Residents of Acacia Estates in Taguig now have another option for going out of the township, following the opening of a new access road connecting to C-5 in the fourth quarter of 2025. 

  

The road links Maple Place–Molave Road to Pusawan Road and was built through a partnership between DMCI Homes, Taguig City Local Government Unit, Pamayanang Diego Silang, and Barangay Ususan. 

  

Homeowners shared that the new route provides greater flexibility during peak hours, especially on weekday mornings. When traffic builds up along Cayetano Boulevard (formerly Levi Mariano Avenue), residents now have an alternative route for going out. 

  

The new route is not only shorter in distance—saving around 2 kilometers compared to the Cayetano Boulevard route—but also allows drivers to reach C-5 in around 10 minutes during typical morning traffic, making daily commutes noticeably faster. 

  

The route has also proven helpful during school drop-offs and when nearby roadworks affect regular routes.

For many homeowners, the main benefit is having a choice, allowing them to adjust their route depending on traffic conditions. 

  

Residents also appreciate that the new access point includes an additional gate with enhanced security measures, including CCTV monitoring, ensuring safety while providing convenience.  

  

The new C-5 access road complements the ML Quezon and MR Tinga access roads, which opened in 2020 and 2021 to help reduce congestion at the main gate along Cayetano Boulevard during peak periods.
