Quadruple A developer DMCI Homes has started to welcome back returning residents of its Verdon Parc development along Ecoland Drive corner Peacock St., Davao City following the issuance of a green tag and certificate of use by the Office of the City Building official last July 30, 2020.
Residents of Verdon Parc’s Martel building already started returning to their units last August 8.
DMCI Homes Vice President for Project Development Dennis Yap said Verdon Parc’s Property Management Office (PMO) has put in place health and safety measures to help ensure the smooth and safe return of residents. Free cleaning service of the units is likewise offered for the returning residents’ ease.
“We are eager to welcome our residents back to show to them what we have been working on to ensure their safety and to further elevate resort-living experience here at Verdon Parc,” Yap said.
One of the returning residents, Lance Howell Blanco, said he is “satisfied” with the enhancements made at Verdon Parc and is looking forward to enjoying the amenities especially the covered multi-purpose court.
“We stayed kasi maganda ang lighting and malaki ang space ng Verdon (Parc) compared to other condos. I’m looking forward sa sports events like basketball,” Blanco said.
Since the start of the year and with the easing of quarantine rules in Davao City in the past weeks, DMCI Homes has conducted a thorough renovation and upgrade of Verdon Parc’s Martel building to guarantee the safe return of residents to their units.
Following the recommendation of structural, seismic, and geotechnical consultants, Martel building was subjected to among other structural stability enhancement methods, seismic load and response upgrade, which is a retrofitting technology that raises the life safety performance of a structure to earthquakes.
The building’s columns and beams have also been reinforced with carbon fiber while sturdy cross-brace and knee-brace have been installed in strategic locations inside the building to further support foundation posts and beams.
Coupled with the structural retrofitting enhancements are the rectification of the residential units, enhancements of landscaped areas and open spaces, and the rehabilitation of the condominium’s fixtures and amenities such as the swimming pool complex and children’s play area.
DMCI Homes has also tapped well-trained and experienced property management staff to let residents enjoy the perks of vacation lifestyle while in the comfort of their own private community.
Moreover, DMCI Homes will soon harness technology-enabled services such as Wifi in common areas, facial recognition and thermal scanners, to further raise resort-living experience at Verdon Parc.
Residents may also use a mobile app called DMCI Communities App to conveniently access property management and community services.
“Along with the implementation of stringent protocols on safety and sanitation, we strive to give our returning residents a safe, convenient and hotel-like lifestyle at Verdon Parc with all these enhanced features,” Yap said.
Spanning a three-hectare land area, Verdon Parc offers a host of resort-inspired amenities that complement Davao City’s abundant and pristine natural resources.
The property is composed of four buildings—Martel, Belvedere, Trevans, and Maurin - which share first-rate resort-inspired amenities such as kiddie pool, lounge pool, lap pool, gazebo, fitness gym, open lawn, entertainment room, children’s play area, function rooms, covered multi-purpose court, and podium deck area.
High rise buildings Belvedere, Trevans, and Maurin will bear DMCI Homes’ Lumiventt® Design Technology, which allows light and fresh air to permeate the structure as well as all unit spaces within through three-storey high openings called Sky Patios.
Furthermore, the buildings also provide an excellent vantage point to appreciate the 360 degree scenic views and serene surroundings of the King City of the South that include the breathtaking views of Samal Island and Mt. Apo.
