Last May 31, 2012, DMCI Homes was recognized as one of the most trusted brands in property development in the Philippines by Reader’s Digest in the prestigious annual Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand Awards ceremony held in Resorts World Manila, Pasay City. In attendance were executives from the country biggest brands in the finance, telecommunications, services (which includes property development), retail, household products, information technology, consumer electronics, luxury or personal products, automobile related, food and beverage, health and personal care industries.
For the past 13 years, Reader’s Digest has surveyed consumers from different countries in Asia to determine the brands that they feel are the most trustworthy. This year, they partnered with Synovate, one of the world’s leading custom research firms, to contact 8,000 respondents from 8 different countries in Asia through phone and postal surveys. The brands were then ranked by trustworthiness and credibility, quality, value, understanding customer needs, innovativeness and social responsibility to determine the country’s most trusted brands. Now on its 14th year, the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Survey has since become a marketing benchmark, serving as a indicator in identifying consumer preferences and over-all brand appeal of products in various categories.
