In celebration of its 25th anniversary, DMCI Homes recently hosted a “Wellness Day,” dedicated to promoting relaxation, reflection, and rejuvenation among its employees.
The event held at the multi-purpose court of the DMCI Homes Corporate Center in Barangay Bangkal, Makati City was a day of respite, aimed at fostering employee well-being.
With the theme “Holistic Harmony of Mind, Body, and Soul,” the event encouraged participants to take a step back from their daily routines, recharge, and focus on their overall well-being.
The atmosphere was filled with positivity as employees engaged in activities designed to boost mental clarity, physical health, and emotional balance.
The event kicked off with an energetic Dance Zumba session led by DMCI Homes Contracts Engineer III Mary Anne Ramirez. The high-energy warm-up set the tone for the event as employees got moving and ready for a series of wellness-focused activities.
One of the event’s key highlights was an inspiring talk by Shawie Sulit, Business Development and Strategic Partnerships Director at MindNation Philippines, who focused on mental wellness.
Sulit emphasized the importance of emotional resilience and urged employees to prioritize their mental health through self-care practices, positive self-talk, and mindfulness.
Physical wellness was also a major focus, with pediatrician Dr. Renato Angelo Romero, also a DMCI Homes condo resident, delivering a lecture on the growing concern of obesity.
Dr. Romero provided valuable insights on maintaining a healthy weight from a young age and emphasized the need for a balanced diet and regular exercise.
Lifestyle medicine physician, Dr. Ronald Allan Ponteres, rounded off the wellness talks by offering practical tips on incorporating healthy habits into both work and daily life.
Throughout the day, employees explored wellness booths from event partners like Ceragem, Erase, Human Nature Imus, Laura's Food Product Corp., MindNation Philippines, Unilab, Philippine Christian Bookstore, and Young Living. In-house partners Sip and Savor, Ka-Locally Drinks & Lemonade, Sando-ichi, Salad Bar, and Shop Til You Drop also added to the wellness experience.
Attendees enjoyed a variety of freebies, drinks, and raffle prizes, further enhancing the day’s atmosphere of fun and relaxation. A massage room was also available for those who wanted to de-stress and unwind.
Organized by DMCI Homes’ Interior Design Department, Design & Engineering Department, Zenith, and Fit-out Team, DMCI Homes’ Wellness Day proved to be a resounding success, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to employee well-being.
As part of DMCI Homes' year-long 25th anniversary celebration, Wellness Day highlights the company’s focus on creating a supportive and balanced work environment that prioritizes the health and happiness of its employees.
