Quadruple A developer DMCI Homes continues to deliver residential projects despite the challenges posed by the coronavirus health crisis.
This November, DMCI Homes completed the fourth and final building of its Calathea Place development along Dr. A. Santos Avenue (formerly Sucat Road), Parañaque City to wrap up the construction of the mid-rise development.
The fourth building, Lavender, began accepting move-ins last November 27, 2020, starting with the units from the ground floor up to the sixth floor of the structure.
It is the last residential structure of Calathea Place to be completed after the 12-storey high Marantina building was turned over to unit owners last August. The other two buildings, eight-storey high Zebrina and Leonia, were the first structures to be constructed in April 2019 and October 2019 respectively.
Aside from bearing DMCI Homes’ healthy building design, Lumiventt® Design Technology, Lavender is also the second DMCI Homes’ residential building to feature an “extended Sky Lounge,” a design innovation which provides residents a platform to appreciate the cityscape literally on the edge of a high-rise structure.
Reminiscent of the Marina Bay Sands’ Skypark in Singapore and Al Muntaha Restaurant in Burj Al Arab in Dubai, the design innovation, which is a variation of DMCI Homes’ roof-deck function area called “Sky Lounge,” extends beyond the edge of the structure.
These design innovations are in line with DMCI Homes’ inspiration behind the project—a place where one can relish serenity while enjoying the comforts and pleasures of modern city living.
The property puts together an excellent location, healthy building design, expansive open spaces, and resort-inspired amenities to let residents enjoy a comfortable and quality lifestyle.
Located along Dr. A. Santos Avenue and a few minutes away from the South Luzon Expressway, Calathea Place offers an excellent takeoff point going to key places in the metro. Makati City is just a short drive away and so as the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and the Entertainment City.
Moreover, the property is located in a thriving Parañaque district that hosts learning centers, banks, medical institutions, supermarkets, and leisure zones—giving residents easy access to all that is essential.
Meanwhile, with the well-being of residents in mind, DMCI Homes devoted approximately 60 percent of the land area of the 1.54-hectare development to open spaces and resort-inspired amenities to ensure a relaxing sanctuary for residents.
Residents have access to a kiddie pool, lap pool, lounge pool, basketball court, children’s play area, gazebos, lounge areas, roof deck gardens, fitness gym, game area, audiovisual room, Sky Lounge and function area to let them enjoy genuine resort-living.
Apart from big open spaces, DMCI Homes also made sure that Calathea Place’s dwelling spaces promote the well-being of residents. This is by integrating landscaped atriums and single-loaded corridors in all the buildings’ design. These features not only eliminate the claustrophobic feel that is common in other condominiums but also promote better lighting and cross ventilation.
Taller buildings like the Marantina and Lavender even have large openings called Sky Patios by virtue of the Lumiventt® Design Technology, to further maximize the benefits of natural light and fresh air inside the residential units.
Calathea Place is one of the developments of DMCI Homes, the country’s first Quadruple A real estate developer known for building quality resort-inspired communities in Mega Manila, Baguio City, Boracay and Davao City. Each of its properties is built with world-standard craftsmanship borne from D.M. Consunji Inc.'s over 60 years of expertise in the construction and development industry.
