Even before construction is completed at the condominium community of Arista Place in Parañaque, the people behind DMCI Homes are already promoting a culture of child care and shared stewardship among members of Brgy. Sto. Niño where the development is located.
Hand-in-hand with local government leaders and Kaakbay, the corporate social responsibility arm of DMCI Homes, the developer’s E-Brokers Division conducted an afternoon of gift-giving for the benefit of kindergarten students of Brgy. Sto. Niño Day Care Center.
Arista Place Clubhouse hosted the activity spearheaded by Senior Vice President for Sales Flor Ofrecio. Organizers of the outreach program recognized the need to augment the resources of underserved school children in the area as school opening draws near. With help from Barangay Captain Ismael de Leon, the E-brokers division deployed volunteers to distribute school supplies to 150 kids who participated in the event. The children were entertained through a story-telling activity and were provided food and drinks from a famous fast food chain.
DMCI Homes recognizes the far-reaching effects of promoting learning and education, especially in areas where it develops residential condominium communities. The 4.5-hectare Arista Place is situated on J.P. Rizal Street, Brgy. Sto. Nino, Parañaque City. It will have 11 mid-rise buildings that will offer around 1,200 residential units, designed to give residents an experience of everyday Asian tropical vacation.
A good location and neighborhood are the primary considerations of home seekers, which is why DMCI Homes, through Kaakbay, fosters positive social impact in districts where its residential projects are situated. As a developer of homes for Filipino families, the company is expected to look after the welfare of children, and DMCI Homes brings this child-friendly policy beyond the gates of its residential projects out into the bigger community.
Aside from the gift-giving activity, DMCI Homes is engaged in the city’s public interest projects by initiating medical missions that alleviate the plight of hundreds of Parañaquenos, and a housing project for impoverished families living along the city’s riverbanks. ###
