When to use it
- You feel unwell, dizzy, or in distress and need immediate help.
- You suspect a threat or unsafe situation in or near your unit.
- You can’t place a regular phone call but can tap the button.
For life-threatening emergencies, also dial your local emergency number if you’re able.
How it works (simple flow)
- Open the app → Home (or the quick-access banner if available).
- Tap Emergency Call.
- A quick confirm prompt appears (to avoid accidental taps).
- Upon confirmation, the app sends a priority alert to Security and PMO.
- Guards/PMO respond by visiting your unit for a welfare check.
- You’ll see a “Help on the way” status; keep your phone nearby if they try to contact you.
Helpful tips
- Grant location/notification permissions if prompted, so the alert is reliable and you see status updates.
- If it was an accidental tap, immediately use the Cancel alert option (if shown) or call the guard/PMO to inform them.
- If you can’t reach the door, make some sound or use the app to message (if messaging is available) so responders can locate you faster.
- Keep your profile and unit info updated in Settings so responders have the right details.
Privacy & safety notes
- Emergency alerts are logged with timestamp and unit for response tracking.
- Only authorized personnel receive emergency alerts.
- Misuse may be subject to community rules, but don’t hesitate to press it when you truly need help.
