Quadruple A developer DMCI Homes has completed the third building of its Calathea Place development along Dr. A. Santos Avenue (formerly Sucat Road), Parañaque City, making the structure available for turnover to unit owners starting this month.

Up for turnover is the Marantina building which is one of the two 12-storey condominiums of the four-building mid-rise development.

Eight-storey buildings, Zebrina and Leonia, were turned over to unit owners in April 2019 and October 2019 respectively.

Still under construction is the other, 12-storey building, Lavender, which is also set to be completed in the coming months.

“Despite the many difficulties brought about by the health crisis, we continue to persevere to remain true to our promise of delivering quality and best value homes,” DMCI Homes Vice President for Project Development Dennis Yap said.

Designed to be a place where one can relish serenity while enjoying the comforts of modern city living, Calathea Place offers a comfortable and quality lifestyle for homeowners with its excellent location, healthy building designs, expansive open spaces and resort-inspired amenities.

With only 3.8 kilometers between the property and the South Luzon Expressway, traveling to the business hub, Makati City, is a short 20-minute drive away. Similarly, going to the nearby Ninoy Aquino International Airport as well as the Entertainment City is a breeze especially with public transport services operating 24/7 in the area.

Moreover, the property is located in a thriving Parañaque district that hosts learning centers, banks, medical institutions, supermarkets, and leisure zones.

With the well-being of residents in mind, DMCI Homes intended all four buildings of Calathea Place to be healthy dwelling spaces by integrating landscaped atriums and single-loaded corridors in their design. These features not only eliminate the claustrophobic feel that is common in other condominiums, but also promote better lighting and cross ventilation.

The Marantina and Lavender buildings also have large openings called Sky Patios by virtue of DMCI Homes’ Lumiventt® Design Technology, a design innovation that brings the benefits of natural light and fresh air inside the residential units.

Meanwhile, approximately 60 percent of the land area of the 1.54-hectare development is devoted to open spaces and resort-inspired amenities to ensure a relaxing sanctuary for residents.

Amenities include a kiddie pool, lap pool, lounge pool, multi-purpose court, children’s play area, gazebos, roof deck gardens, fitness gym, game area, audiovisual room, Sky Lounge and function areas.

Calathea Place is one of the developments of DMCI Homes, the country’s first Quadruple A real estate developer known for building quality resort-inspired communities in Mega Manila, Baguio City, Boracay and Davao City. Each of its properties is built with world-standard craftsmanship borne from D.M. Consunji Inc.'s over 60 years of expertise in the construction and development industry.
