Nothing quite serves as a fitting counterpoint to the mayhem of today’s urban setting than a home that evokes a laidback lifestyle.
DMCI Homes acknowledges this and has always endeavored to offer – through its themed, resort-inspired subdivisions and condominium communities – all the comforts and conveniences a family can aspire for in a home.
Recently, the country’s first Triple A builder/developer held the Grand Open House for Ohana Place, primed to be the only Hawaiian-inspired medium-rise condominium community in the charming locale of Las Piñas City.
The whole day event was held at the project site and was attended by prospective clients who were clearly keyed up at this first-of-a-kind development in this part of the Metro. Also present were DMCI Homes’ officers, as well as members of the company’s capable sales force.
The festivities kicked off with the groundbreaking event graced by DMCI Homes’ officers followed by the inauguration of the Ohana Place Sales office and Model unit. These momentous events were immediately followed by the celebration of the Holy Mass held inside the main event tent.
Air-conditioned tent with adjacent al fresco seating areas were set up for guests to lounge around as the event’s various side activities went on. While the grown-ups went around to examine the handsomely executed model unit and to watch the audio-video presentation on plasma televisions scattered around the area, the kids busied themselves at the airbrush face painting corner.
At noon, everyone was treated to a sumptuous “Hawaiian Grille” lunch buffet which consisted of barbecue chicken with grilled pineapple, pork Hawaiian barbecue, pork skewer, baked spaghetti, garlic French bread, mini burgers, and fresh fruits platter. Iced tea and fruit punch were the beverage of choice to down the scrumptious spread prepared by Hizon’s catering.
The multi-awarded Kilyawan Boys Choir, composed of students aged 8-22 and who hail from Quezon City and Manila, provided the day’s entertainment by belting out soothing songs that floated melodiously throughout the activity areas.
If the hearty smiles and contented air of the guests at day’s end were any indication, Ohana Place’s promise as a relaxing, truly family-friendly commune is not too far from fulfillment.
